Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining strict OSHA compliance
- Take accurate dental radiographs and develop high-quality images
- Manage patient scheduling and digital charting using Dentrix software
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-treatment care
- Oversee inventory management for dental supplies and materials
- Coordinate seamless communication between patients and clinical staff
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or CDA credential required
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sidexis)
- Expert knowledge of infection control protocols
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
