Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Manage patient flow and maintain digital records using Dentrix software
- Sterilize instruments and ensure OSHA compliance protocols
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos
- Prepare treatment rooms and stock supplies efficiently
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with insurance companies on claims processing
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and sterilization systems
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
