Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and restorative work
- Manage digital imaging systems (CBCT, intraoral cameras) and patient records
- Sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance oversight
- Train and mentor junior dental assistants on clinical workflows
- Coordinate treatment plans and post-operative care instructions
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- CDA or RDA certification required (California)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
