Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and dental operatory for procedures including sterilizing instruments and setting up trays
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments including instrument handling and suction control
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting in our practice management software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education on oral hygiene
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies and materials
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and sterilization standards
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification in Arizona state
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and ability to put patients at ease
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
