Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures with precision and care
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 10 operatories
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort support
- Coordinate seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis, Sirona) practice management software
- CPR certification and X-ray license (or willingness to obtain)
- Demonstrated expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and patient demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
