Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control and sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records using dental software (Epic/Dentrix)
- Order inventory and maintain dental equipment
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist in scheduling and front desk duties
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography and sterilization
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Dentrix/Epic software experience preferred
