Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control and sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
- Order inventory and maintain dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Assist in emergency dental procedures
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California
- X-ray certification and coronal polishing certificate
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification
