As a key member of our clinical team, you'll work alongside experienced dentists to ensure seamless patient experiences while maintaining strict sterilization protocols and assisting with advanced procedures. Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontics
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilize instruments/equipment per OSHA standards
- Take dental X-rays and perform digital imaging with proficiency
- Manage patient charts and update electronic health records accurately
- Assist with inventory management and ordering dental supplies
- Provide chairside support during complex procedures and emergency situations
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a general or specialty dental practice
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to put patients at ease
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
