Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal clinic efficiency
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Perform digital charting and manage practice software
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DA required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Digital charting experience (Epic or Dentrix preferred)
