Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate care logs
- Create safe, nurturing environments that respect client preferences
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving or home health experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic approach with strong cultural sensitivity
- Background clearance and TB test required
