Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform sterilization and instrument preparation using OSHA-compliant protocols
- Manage digital radiography systems and intraoral imaging technology
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for 8-operatories
- Coordinate seamless patient flow across multiple treatment rooms
- Maintain accurate digital charting and patient documentation
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal date
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently during flexible shifts
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable transportation
