Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor vital signs and document client observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and prescribed exercises
- Manage medication reminders and light housekeeping duties
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate with care team
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training
- Current Pennsylvania HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate nature with ability to build trust
- Flexibility with scheduling including evenings/weekends
