Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and verify orders
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Conduct medication reconciliation and clinical screenings
- Provide exceptional patient counseling on medication usage
- Collaborate with pharmacists on inventory management
- Maintain compliance with DEA and state pharmacy regulations
- Utilizes pharmacy software for prescription processing
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and pharmacy laws
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Proficient in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
