Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation of pharmaceuticals
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Assist with compounding and IV preparations
- Maintain compliance with FDA, DEA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Utilize pharmacy software for dispensing and record-keeping
Qualifications
- Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician license required
- Prior pharmacy experience preferred (1+ years)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
