Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to strict safety protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry.
- Take and develop digital X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral images.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and update patient charts.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with dental billing processes.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-care instructions.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed.
Qualifications
- Current State Licensure as a Dental Assistant (or eligible to obtain).
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program (CDA or RDA preferred).
- Previous experience in a clinical dental setting (1+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and sterilization standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
