Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, and provide emotional support to reduce loneliness.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take prescribed medications at scheduled times.
- Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, and social events.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs and care plans.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED required.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health, nursing assistance, or personal care is preferred.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is highly desired.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility: Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassion: Genuine desire to help others and maintain a positive, patient demeanor.
