Responsibilities
- Provide daily living assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility issues, transfers, and walking using proper body mechanics.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare meals according to prescribed dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
- Document patient progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
- Current valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or willingness to get vaccinated (where applicable).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
