Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields before procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment sterilization protocols
- Assist in patient positioning and draping procedures
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments before/after surgery
- Document procedural supplies and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 1+ years OR experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory
- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures
- Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
