Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments via phone to determine appropriate level of care for patients.
- Document patient interactions, symptoms, and clinical recommendations accurately in the EMR system.
- Provide evidence-based medical advice, triage instructions, and treatment plans to patients.
- Facilitate seamless referrals to physicians, urgent care centers, or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and company clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to identify trends and improve patient satisfaction scores.
- Stay current with clinical guidelines and nursing best practices.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina (or compact state license).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, with a preference for triage or call center experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and medical software.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
