Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care in ICU/Stepdown units for diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor and interpret patient telemetry data, responding to critical changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems while adhering to JCAHO standards
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/Stepdown experience
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Proficiency in Epic or Cerner EMR systems
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid California driver's license
