Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Support patients with meals and nutritional needs
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and common areas
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior CNA experience necessary – we train!
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain during orientation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly patients
- Reliable transportation to various facility locations
- Background check and drug screen required post-offer
- New Mexico CNA certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
