Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status changes
- Assist licensed nurses with patient care procedures and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support a positive patient experience through effective communication
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Background check and drug screen required
