Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain clinical equipment
- Handle patient scheduling and insurance documentation
- Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and inventory management
- Support digital record-keeping and practice software
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification or graduation from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patient communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- New York State dental radiography license preferred
