Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials while ensuring optimal efficiency
- Administer patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate scheduling and seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
Qualifications
- CDA certification or Dental Assisting diploma from accredited program
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft practice management software
- DEXIS digital radiography certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and dental compliance standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
