Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with advanced equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Execute patient education on oral hygiene and treatment procedures
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain precise dental charting and electronic health records
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between operatories
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification from CODA-accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray license
- Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient rapport-building
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced setting
