Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Document care progress and maintain accurate health records
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry services
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Kansas HHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Kansas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with mobility transfers
