Responsibilities
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims with accuracy and timeliness
- Review EOBs and patient statements for discrepancies
- Code diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
- Resolve billing denials and appeals efficiently
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams for documentation accuracy
- Generate monthly revenue reports for leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
