Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, label, and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and tracking pharmaceutical supplies
- Maintain precise patient records and medication profiles in our digital pharmacy system
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing patient inquiries about medications
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and standards
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize medication therapy outcomes
- Process insurance claims and manage third-party billing procedures
Qualifications
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy skills
- Excellent communication abilities with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug classifications
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
