Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Operate pharmacy technology including dispensing systems and electronic health records
- Assist in sterile compounding and IV preparation when required
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician certification required
- 1+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Proficient in pharmacy software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- High school diploma or equivalent required
