Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper safety techniques
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate effectively with family members
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional home health aide experience
- Current Texas HHA certification or CNA license
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Passionate about elderly care and committed to client dignity
- Background check and TB test clearance required
