Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care urgency and level
- Document patient interactions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide clear discharge instructions and health education
- Coordinate referrals and care transitions across departments
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
