Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in emergency/trauma settings using advanced medical equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures per protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific safety standards
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of ER/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN with relevant experience considered)
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and technologies
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Valid US passport and ability to pass background check
