Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing, to ensure clients maintain dignity and hygiene.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversations and recreational activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments, social events, or shopping errands as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
