Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, and Stepdown units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide education to patients and families on health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adapt quickly to new environments and clinical protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri or compact state
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS/NISS preferred
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
