Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with facility standards and state nursing regulations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by licensed physicians.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop care plans.
- Participate in unit orientation and ongoing education to ensure compliance with new protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and critical situations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a relevant specialty (Med-Surg, ICU, ER, Telemetry, etc.).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
