Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the nursing team.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure clients feel safe and valued.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or CNA certification preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
