Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Light housekeeping and errand services for clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Document care activities and patient progress accurately
- Report changes in patient condition to care coordinator promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current Maryland HHA certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for elderly/disabled
- Reliable transportation with proof of insurance
