Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and medication reminders.
- Monitor and record patient health status, including vital signs and changes in condition.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing team regarding care plans.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; HHA or CNA certification is highly preferred.
- Current valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and daily tasks.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
