Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide assistance with mobility, including walking, transferring, and positioning patients safely.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor immediately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned to maintain a clean living environment.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, listening to their needs and concerns.
- Administer medications as directed by a licensed nurse, ensuring accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented nature with a genuine desire to help others.
