Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide mobility assistance and transfer support (wheelchair, walker, bed to chair).
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Administer medication reminders and report any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Accompany patients to medical appointments and provide transportation support.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required for home visits).
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs safely.
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
