Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, weight, and general condition to report changes to the nursing team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation as directed by the care plan.
- Administer medication reminders and document care activities accurately.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or CNA license (State of Arizona).
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
