Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the patient's condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to patient care.
- Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification required.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
