Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and specialized dietary requirements
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician instructions
- Transport patients to medical appointments and community activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and maintain a safe living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide experience
- Current Florida HHA certification and CPR certification
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Compassionate demeanor with patience for elderly/disabled individuals
- Reliable transportation and punctual work ethic
