Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any significant changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their quality of life.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments, shopping, and social activities using company vehicles.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation according to the client’s dietary needs.
- Administer medication as directed by the physician and in accordance with state regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean home environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is highly preferred.
- Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 250 lbs with assistance.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
