Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice and state regulations.
- Transport patients to medical appointments and therapy sessions when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and clean home environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Valid Arizona Driver’s License and clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
