Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with compassion and clinical excellence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Participate in rapid response situations and emergency care protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Provide mentorship to nursing staff during patient care transitions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state with ability to obtain Kansas license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in Med-Surg or ICU
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- BSN degree strongly preferred; ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered
- Exceptional critical thinking and adaptability in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills for effective patient and team collaboration
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
