Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and support with light medical tasks as authorized.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and shopping trips.
- Monitor the client’s physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the supervisor.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Must be compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
