Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry as needed.
- Transport clients to medical appointments or run errands using a reliable vehicle.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with personal hygiene routines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or Home Health Aide certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for caregiving.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
