Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining strict OSHA compliance
- Take accurate dental impressions and perform X-ray imaging
- Manage patient charts and digital records using Dentrix software
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance verifications
- Maintain a sterile, organized clinical environment
Qualifications
- Active Kansas Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and patient-centered approach
- Experience with Dentrix/Eaglesoft software preferred
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional Saturdays
