As a Home Health Aide, you will be the face of our agency, providing essential daily living assistance and emotional support to seniors and individuals recovering from illness or injury.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and safe navigation of their home environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed to ensure proper nutrition.
- Administer medication reminders and report any changes in health or mood to the nursing team.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and therapy sessions.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands related to client care.
- Document daily care activities and maintain accurate client records.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or State Tested Nurse Assistant (STNA) certification is preferred.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, patient demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
